Lemuria

We washed away the pain That was tormenting us With our desires We ran free Coupled together Feet entrenched in the moss Fingers on fire To discover whatever we had lost And so the adventure It began Taking us from land to land To a freedom That they told us Was unreal But we knew Oh yes we knew That the freedom was ours Because we love We dared ourselves to love With all of our being And when the waves crashed We fell into them Wet Yet in the moist heat In the evening Red sun setting Across the caves Our steaming land Rising Bringing souls back home The great divide No longer visible For love Prevailed And we Are one © Sonya Robertson
